Under the influence of the Western Culture we are forgetting our own valueable customs and traditions. Our rich and nutrious traditional foods are giving place to junk food creating sickness and diseases. Our traditional crafts have been replaced by ill suited mass produced objects that don't fit in with our traditional life style. Trinjan is just a glimpse of our rich past. This glimpse also holds a way out of the present mess we have landed in.
In addition to the traditional Spinning Wheel, the program demonstrated other traditional craft like, making hand made paper, weaving Strings, embroidery etc.
The program was inagurated by Mrs Mandheer kaur Pannu, Chair Person Red Cross, Amritsar.
