The Camp was inaugurated by S. Kahan Singh Pannu, Deputy Commissioner Amritsar. On this occasion, a large number of well wishers of Pingalwara were present. Eminent among them were Sundar Lal Ji Bahuguna, Bhagwant Singh Dalawari, Rana Palwinder Singh and S. Mehal Singh Principal Shri Guru Gobind Singh College, Sarhali.

With the active participation of Guru Nanak Dev Hospital and Sri Guru Ramdas Hospital more than 100 units of Blood were collected. This Blood is now readily available for future use of Pingalwara patients whenever required.
All the blood donors were served fruits and refreshments provided by Oriental Bank of Commerce, Sharif Pura Branch.
