On 11th April 2005, Bhagat Puran Singh Chair was formally established at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Aim of this chair is to highlight the contribution of Bhagat Puran Singh Ji in the betterment of our society and how his philosophy can be used for a healthy and prosperous future. The studies would be guided by Sh. VN Naryanan former Editor-in-Chief of The Tribune, Sh Sunder Lal Ji Bahuguna, the noted environmentalist and Pingalwara.
