Bhagat Puran Singh School for the Deaf

The school started functioning in may 2005 with 14 students. Most of the students are from very poor families that have very little knowledge about education of deaf children. Many 10- 12 years children have had no formal education. The school also providing education to deaf children of Pingalwara. Presently school is holding three classes Viz. Nursery, Primary and senior classes. Total number of students is 31.
In 2006 Home of Hope, provided funds for a laptop, 4 desktop computer, a 32 in LCD TV and other audio equipment. With this equipment there has been marked improvement in the training of the students.
