About Pingalwara
A team of teachers from Sheffield visited Pingalwara schools in February, 2007. They were deeply touched by the large number of destitute and poor children struggling to find a foothold in the society through the efforts of Pingalwara. Some of them promised that they would be back with more help.

With 1750 students it is the biggest school of its type in England. True to her promise Rhona is back with her team of teachers from Eccelsfield school.
Rhona has two roles in her own school. She teaches mathematics and is also Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO). She is the master mind behind this project.
