Introduction Pingalwara Endeavours
Tasks for Pingalwara are the result of the social, economic, ethical and moral issues of the society. Some of these are:
      

Poor women who lose their spouses
find it difficult to live a secure and
sheltered  life
Handicapped children are abandoned
Many of the unwed mothers don't
want to keep their children with
 them

AIDS/HIV positive persons are
shunned by their families
Terminally ill persons are not
admitted into hospitals
Mental patients don't get adequate
medical care and support from
their families.

Old persons are turned out of their
home by their wards
Mentally sick young women are not
 able to stay with their families.
Injured persons are left on the
roadside to die.

To solve these immediate problems Bhagat Puran Singh Ji advocated that Pingalwara must give refuge to every destitute person and must provide the following services.
