KaluKaluKalu was found abandoned on the road side with severe bums. He kept lying there for two days and would have surely died all alone in the inhuman conditions but for the efforts of a God fearing person who rang up Pingalwara about Kalu.

Pingalwara swung into action and recovered kalu. It was found that both the arms of this boy required immediate amputation. This was the only way to save his life. The operation was successful. Kalu made a complete recovery and was sent back to his home. However, Kalu was soon back with Pingalwara as his parents were not able to raise the necessary funds for providing him with artificial arms.

 Pingalwara has arranged for Kalu to be fitted with mechanical arms  and with that he has stepped in from a state of complete helplessness to comparative freedom.
