Rekha

RekhaRekha (25 years) along with her two children aged 4 years and 10 months respectively, was found outside Central Khalsa Orphanage on G.T. Road,Amritsar on 19-1-98. A small crowd had gathered around her and a rickshaw puller was seen trying to forcibly take her on his rickshaw. She was rescued and brought to Pingalwara by a passerby.

At this time Rekha was mentally upset and in a depressed state. She could not tell anything except that she was from Rajasthan. She was given all the medical and emotional support and the result was that over a period of time she regained her mental balance.

As her address became known her parents  were  contacted. They came to take her back home on 23-1-99.  Once again Rekha was with her near and dear ones.
